Dr. Brittany Peters has over 15 years of experience in community mental health as a clinician, advocate, consultant, and clinical director. Currently, Dr. Brittany is the vice president of Behavioral Health for a child welfare & behavioral health organization, owns and operates a private practice, and teaches collegiate courses for two major universities. Dr. Brittany received her BSW and MSW for Florida State University and her Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive approach, individuals will gain insight into their core selves. Dr. Brittany fosters a sense of self-connection through empathy. Individuals can develop a “toolbox” of skills to enhance their lives.
