Dr. Sarah Williams is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a specialization in Grief and Trauma. As a survivor of Grief and Trauma, Dr. Sarah’s work is anchored in genuine support and professional clinical intervention. As a Widow, Dr. Sarah soon realized the importance of support for Black Families in grief with particular regard to Black Women that are Widows. She is the Founder of the Hearts In Heaven Foundation, and the Executive Director of Black Women Widow Empowered. In addition to her clinical work as a Grief and Trauma Therapist, Dr. Sarah is a frequent contributor to Network TV, Radio, and Podcast on the subject of Grief and Trauma. She has offered consultation and expertise to A&E TV, CBS Affiliate networks, iHeart Radio, and Roland Martin’s Black Star Network Channel to name a few.
