In an effort to promote transparency and to share how they navigate the world in their body, Chris is a fat/larger-bodied, neurodivergent, queer, nonbinary/agender, Latine biracial person. Chris centers queer, Black and Brown, and disabled experiences in their therapeutic style. Chris offers a compassionate and curious approach with their clients while utilizing knowledge gained from formal education and training and informal lived experience. They work to provide their clients with guidance in processing experiences, assist clients with skill development for daily life management, and provides validation and emotional support.
Chris provides services to adults and adolescents struggling with trauma, dissociation, mood disorders, neurodivergence, chronic health issues, disability, sexual issues, gender identity, LGBTQ+ issues, racial identity, and grief. Chris also provides family and relationship counseling, including those in non-monogamous relationships. Chris has training in IFS, EMDR, DBT, EFT, EFFT, and the Gottman Method.
