With more than 32 years of experience working for hospitals and hospices, and active military and veteran’s. I established Covington-McGee Christian Counseling to help people who need counseling. My goal is to help people overcome the difficulties through Christian teachings and values. With the barriers affecting access to treatment we provide members of diverse ethnic and racial groups. We have dedicated our services to serve those who lack health insurance or whose health insurance doesn’t provide Faithbased mental health counseling. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey and look forward to your success in reaching spiritual peace and happiness.. Dr. Mel McGee joined The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) which provides behavioral and mental support to firefighters, EMTs, and rescue personnel. She is a provider for “Twogether In Texas” pre-marital classes in Texas. Dr. Mel McGee’s approach consists in the form of healing the whole person body, mind, spirit, and emotions in the quest for optimal health and wellness. Covington-McGee Christian Counseling is the embodiment of my willingness to always help others who need faith and guidance in life. I stand by my word, which is always in line with Christian teachings, and I am committed to helping people live a long life filled with happiness. I understand that mental health is a critical component of our whole wellbeing. Therefore, as Faith-based Christians, we are guided by God to help those in need. I give my sincere thanks and appreciation to all veterans who have served their country. I will continue to pray for our loved ones who are currently serving in the armed forces, whether they are stationed overseas or in the United States. I will continue to pray for counselors, pastors, and intercessors that provide reassurance to those who need your spiritual guidance along this journey. For those who are broken in heart, we ask you to trust that the heart of God is kind.
